Maratus volans, a species of Australian peacock spider

Here, in a posting on tree kingfishers, I've added photos of Collared and Stork-billed Kingfishers, and a better one of Blue-winged Kookaburra.

Diademed Sifaka Propithecus diadema, Vakona, near Antasibe-Mantadia NP. This lemur is almost as big as the Indri, and beautifully coloured.

The fact that this was an entirely wild animal, not one used to people like the rehabilitated animals at Sepilok, just added to our pleasure.
